Nathan Rival

Nathan Rival is an internationally renowned hairdresser with expertise honed in some of the world's most iconic cities, including London, Paris, and Sydney. Currently residing in Toronto, Nathan is an active member of IATSE 873 and a sought-after hair designer for feature films and series on major platforms like Netflix, Amazon, and NBC. He holds Australian and EU passports and is a permanent citizen of Canada.

Nathan's journey began in the UK, where he trained as a wig maker at Campbell Young & Assoc in Bristol before starting his career in film. Since then, he has crafted wigs for the BBC, CBC, and both the Australian and Canadian Opera companies.

In 2020, Nathan's exceptional work earned him a nomination for Achievement in Hair in a Feature Film by the Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television. Beyond his contributions to the film industry, Nathan shares his knowledge as a guest teacher at CMU College of Makeup Art & Design and enjoys collaborating with other creatively inclined professionals on innovative photoshoots and editorials.
